One of the dopest tracks to grace my iPod. From Black Sheep’s “A Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing” album, “The Choice Is Yours (Revisited)” epitomizes great old-school Hip-Hop. It was even featured on VH1′s Greatest 100 Hip-Hop Songs (and I wouldn’t expect anything less from members of the Native Tongue Family!).
Dres and Mista Lawnge go hard on this track. I actually like this version better than the first, and I’m sure y’all will too! Let’s take it back to ’92.

I miss the days when every track Missy put out was an instant classic. “Supa Dupa Fly” is my all-time favorite Missy album. Lil’ Kim was going harder than ever in the early 90′s, too!
“Supa Dupa Fly” was produced entirely by Timbaland, and in my opinion, this is one of his best works. Simplicity is key in a great Hip-Hop beat. It really gives the artist the spotlight, and here, Missy shows off her talents as a vocalist and rapper.
Old school Missy to kick off the day? There’s nothing better.

I love this track because it is incredibly simple. Black Thought (Tariq Trotter) tells a tale of the same story happening three days in a row, giving each verse a different pitch and flow.
Rahzel (who I think is the sickest beatboxer of all time) blessed the beat, and the chorus samples Minnie Riperton’s “Here We Go”.
A beautiful marriage of 80′s soul and early Hip-Hop, and perfect for those lazy afternoons.

The best thing The Foreign Exchange could’ve done is feature Jesse Boykins III on a track. His voice (in the second verse) sends chills up and down my spine. Such a beautiful song for a crisp morning.
