We Are Born is SiA’s fourth studio album and perhaps her most jovial yet. The album pays homage to an era when Miami Vice and Kenny Loggins ruled the airwaves, although the artist’s quiet introspection is what distinguishes this as an album from this era.
If you’ve been doing your homework and following the updates on Christina Aguilera’s official website, you would know that there has been a countdown for a “Big News”. Well, guess what? That big news they’re talking about is nothing but the sleeve for the official lead single (No, not “Glam”), but “Not Myself Tonight”, which is according to Pop bishops Popjustice is produced by none other than Polow da Don (Pussycat Dolls, Britney Spears, Ciara). Don’t get me wrong, I’m all excited and stuff, but Polow? We’ve been hearing news about her working with M.I.A., Goldfrapp, SiA, Le Tigre, Switch, Santigold, Anjulie, and Ladytron among others, and we get a lead single by Polow? Really?

SiA has enlisted director Dennis Liu to create this retro, video game vibe for her disco-flavored first single, “You’ve Changed“. The song is set to be the first single from her forthcoming album, “We Are Born”, which is expected to be out sometime this Spring.
Produced by Greg Kurstin with Nick Valensi from The Strokes on guitar, here is a new track from her new album entitled “We Are Born” (Spring ’10).
