Skulls, prints, structure, crazy platforms… Always eye catching & unique… He was found dead in his London home Thursday morning… He was 40 years old.
There is definitely a void in the fashion world now that he is gone.

This Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2010 ad by Nick Knight gives a whole new meaning to python shoes. The incredibly bold campaign is bursting with color, making it a fitting way to advertise some of the most eccentric shoes on the market: the 10” Alexander McQueen armadillo platform shoes!
Look at Raquel Zimmermann wrapped in bright, tropical snakes and wearing a skintight catsuit that could almost fool you into thinking it was a full body tattoo.

The shoes at the Alexander McQueen Spring 2010 runway show were pretty incredible to say the least. I’m still having a hard time trying to describe them..they seem kindda lobster-claw like/animal hoof. They towered at a mere 10 inches.
