Spain has won the World Cup 2010. Spain’s win of the FIFA World Cup came after 111 minutes of action. Spain and Netherlands, scoreless, went into overtime. But that all changed with a sudden striking goal from Andrés Iniesta.

A bunch of performers/Celebrities/Artists, which included some big names like Lionel Richie, Barbra Streisand, Jennifer Hudson,The Jonas Brothers, Toni Braxton, Janet Jackson, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and more (the list is endless) have joined forces for a new version of 1985′s “We Are The World”, which was penned by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie 25 years ago to benefit Africa. The official video for the Haiti relief benefited song has now debuted during the coverage of the opening ceremony of the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Go & Support Africa! They need.
“Kenya through my Heart” is an exhibition event, showcasing pictures of Kenya taken by Ms. Amna Hussain during the K4K trip in July 2009. The event is first of its kind and will highlight the prevalent situation in Kenya and the ongoing goodwill initiatives of K4K.
The distinctive and vivid photographs will be auctioned for sale, in which the proceeds are intended to fund the K4K projects for the upcoming year. K4K’s 2010 projects will include supporting the Mombassa Youth Counseling Center (MYCC) and performing various community services such as teaching in schools, building classrooms and donating other school facilities.
Kuwait for Kenya (K4K) is a permanent project developed by LoYAC and a division under the Kuwait for World (K4W) initiative. K4K was launched in 2006 with a charitable objective; to improve the quality of life and education for youth in Kenya by providing aids to such centers as MYCC.
LoYAC is a non-profit organization working towards the overall development of the youth; its mission states “We strive to provide the youth with unique opportunities to help them evolve into highly effective young leaders”.
“Kenya through my Heart” will be held from 6pm- 8pm on the 27th- 29th of October, in Sidra Room at Bait Lothan, Salmiya.
