COCA COLA’S CAN GETS A NIP/TUCK

Dzmitry Samal has designed a unique concept for the 33cl concept-cans of Coca-cola. The shape is much more geometric – featuring facets, instead of the familiar smooth round cylinder we’re used to. The new can design utilizes a process called impact extrusion, a process where an aluminum slug (solid piece of metal) is pressed at a high velocity with extreme force into a die/mold by a punch.

Nice for showoff, but will never be real. You cannot make it other than round because of the pressure. Except, maybe, very small.

I Love it !!! What are the chances Coca-Cola use this design?

P.S.If you have an extra laying around I would love to have it thanks!

I love the design but i think this would be highly unlikely to be used in reality as it is not stackable

Whihc means more less cans can fit into a lorry

More distrubtution trips will be made

whihc results in increased CO2 emission

not good when the coca cola company makes 2 billion of these every year….
